Color Splash Block of the Month Kit

Maybe more than just a "splash" of color was used in this dynamic new Color Splash quilt design featuring Wilmington Batiks - maybe more like a flood of color!

With a rainbow of richly-colored batiks accentuated by a few very black batiks, this beautiful quilt has fairly simple piecing to showcase the appliqued motifs - leaf-like droplets and Paisley shapes. This beautiful quilt will brighten any decor.

The quilt has been specially designed for an 8-month Block-of-the-Month program. At 87" X 99", it allows a side drop of about 13 1/2" on a queen-size bed. The applique motifs bring this quilt to life. There are some inset borders where interesting quilting can be featured, though simple quilting will showcase the appliques too.
