Fall is just around the corner. When there’s a crispness in the air and a sweater is the go-to garment for the day, you know it’s Flannel Season. This cozy collection overflowing with leaves and f lowers, dots and geometric prints is sure to please anyone on your quilt to-do list. The warm KT palette reflects the shades of falling leaves, late blooming flowers and pumpkins on the vine. But flannel isn’t just for fall & winter. I love to curl up with a soft and snuggly f lannel quilt while watching a good movie any time of year. In spring, a cotton quilt with flannel backing is just the right weight for cool mornings sipping chai tea. A quilt with simply flannel on the back (no batting) is the perfect summer quilt to ward off a chill from the A/C. For fall, a flannel quilt top +flannel backing is made for cuddling by fire. And for winter, a flannel top + flannel for batting + flannel backing makes a quilt worthy of any snow day. Flannel Season is year 'round at my house.
