We're sew excited to help you transform your beautiful quilt tops into finished projects!

Why choose Just Sew Happy's machine quilting services?

With customized service by professional quilting experts and a quick turnaround time, you'll love the ease of allowing Just Sew Happy to complete one of those final steps toward having a beautiful completed project. With our Baby Lock  longarm technology, your project gets the gorgeous consistency that comes from computerized accuracy. And on top of all that, perfect tension and regulated stitching provides unmatched durability as your quilt is loved for years to come!

How does it work?

Once your top is completed, you can fill out the Longarm Service Worksheet to select the way you'd like your project to be quilted. You'll prep the top and back, check it in at the shop, and then wait to hear from us once it's ready for pickup!

How much will it cost? What's included in the price?

The cost for your project is based on the size of your project, as well as any upgrades you select. Our base price of $0.05/square inch includes 80/20 cotton batting and the thread needed to quilt your project. Don't stress out about the math - we're happy to help! Click here to download the worksheet and get started by filling in the size of your project. An example of a completed worksheet is pictured at the bottom of this page.

What upgrades and additional services are available?

We offer wool and bamboo batting as upgrades, as well as a few options to help you with other parts of the process: we can assemble your quilt backing or trim your quilt for an extra $15.

What projects are eligible?

Unfortunately, we can't accept all projects. We are happy to accept projects that are prepped and ready for computerized quilting, as long as they do not have a lot of embroidery or layers of stabilizer. In order to ensure that our longarm machine continues running properly, we cannot accept projects that have holes or that have not been pressed and squared. Our minimum project charge is $35, and our maximum quilt width accepted is 110".

What will I need to do to prepare my project for drop off?

In order to check in your project, we need it to be ready for the longarm machine! You'll need to press and square your quilt top and backing. Your backing needs to be at least 8" longer and wider than your top. Selvages should not be included in your project/seams.

What will the check-in process be?

When you drop off your top and backing, you'll also need to bring your Longarm Quilting Worksheet. You can fill it in before you come in, or we can help you complete it once you arrive. We'll verify your quilt measurements and ensure that we understand the choices you've made for any upgrades, quilting designs, and that we have your up to date contact information.

What design and thread choices are available?

Check out our favorite "Sweet 16" quilting designs and available thread choices. Or you can leave it up to your quilter for what they think will look best! If you'd like to see the designs and colors in person, visit our longarm sample wall in Suite 9.

When will my quilt be finished?

We quilt each project in the order it's received - and we'll let you know as soon as it's complete. You can ask for an estimated turnaround time at the time you check in your project for a more specific idea.
